Wrapping Up Season 5: The Walking Dead
Of all the Pre-Rick and Co. townspeople in the Alexandria Safe Zone, Aaron (Ross Marquand, above) is my favorite. Both the characters of Aaron and Daryl (Norman Reedus) and the actors who portray them click nicely and play off one another well. Helps a great deal that Aaron is well-cast!

Update April 2 #TWD Cast VIDEO
Some super-nice after-finale, previously unreleased shots from what looks to be the end-period of filming season 5 The Walking Dead were released by AMC this week. They are all super-NICE, but my three equal favourites are these. I’ll tell you why.
Top photo is quite simply explained by, “Without these three handsome fellows (above), The Walking Dead – Season 5 probably wouldn’t have happened.”
Definitely wouldn’t have happened as awesomely. Thumbs up indeed, Norman!
Lauren Cohan (Maggie) brings the cute to this photo. Norman Reedus (Daryl) and Co-exec producer/effects Czar/Director Greg Nicotero, bring the “aww.” All three bring the “awe!”
I am so glad to see “Morgan” alive, sounding quite Zen and seemingly quite well.
Lennie James was/is so perfectly cast in this role. I’m so happy to see him back as the kind, sad soul Rick met in his old neighbourhood/former neighbour’s home early in the apocalypse, then later, when poor Morgan, though capable of caring for himself, seemed to have lost his marbles.
The actor that portrays Morgan recently related that scheduling conflicts have been interfering with Morgan’s storyline, but that will do see more Morgan in season 6. I’m for really hoping at least guest star-level, half-season, minimum but that is going to take some fancy schedule-juggling!

Poor Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green). A complete wreck, pretty much on the level of Father Gabriel-deep (Seth Gilliam) in trouble.
I thought the gesture that Maggie (Lauren Cohan ) made to them was quite selfless, touching and compassionate, something her dad Hershel, might have done.
We’ve seen the mark of “W” on the dead and signs that warn of the “Wolves” (see photos above). Now the sightings are more frequent–as is the size of the local walker population, noted Daryl and Aaron. We’ve met two “wolves” who tried and failed to take Morgan captive. It’s quite a good bet that they will return to make a nuisance of themselves in TWD season 6. See you in the fall!
